Kamers in Cape Town: Things you can use

This weekend the Cape Town City Hall is buzzing with locals checking out Kamersvol geskenke. You've got to go there with a mindset of spending the majority of a day there eyeing all the local creativity. Take your time and you will be well rewarded. There is so much to see and try on that you're bound to leave with something really awesome, if not a few really awesome things.

We were not quite prepared for the amount of gloriously creative and well-made quality products on display and found the experience both inspiring and overwhelming, but in a good way.

The tickets at the gate are for sale for R70 per person. You should receive a map as well, which would help you out tremendously if you are unfamiliar with the layout of the building. Here and there are spots where you can grab a sustaining bite to eat, or a necessary rush of caffeine.

We hope you enjoy a browse through some of our photos of things that you can use that were on show at the event, from home decor to kitchen ware.

Hover over the photos to find out more and read the captions.

If you're a vendor and you see a photo of your goods that aren't labelled with your name or brand, please let us know so that we can add that for you!
